Jeju island is quite hard to travel all around the island by public transport.

Taxi in Jeju - Mr. Kang
We just came back from Jeju-do and would like to highly recommend Mr.Kang JumboTaxi service. We used his JumboTaxi service for 2 full days tour and was very, very happy with Mr.Kang service and knowledge.
Mr.Kang speaks acceptable English, so simple English conversation was not a problem. He took a lot of nice photos for us and could use DSLR camera pretty well.
We were doing one of the Olle trail and he dropped us at a starting point and picked us up on the other ending point. Instead of waiting in his JumboTaxi , he walked a little from the ending point to take a photo for us with the Oedolgae rock background.
The trip planning was very easy, we gave him a list of places we wanted to go and he drew up the routes for our 2 days tour. He also recommended a few other places we didn't know and some local farms we drove pass.
He also took us to two very nice restaurants and we found it very delicious and cheap. First one was serving the black pork and they also served this very delicious sweet potato noodle soup. Second one was this seafood restaurant by the sea, 55,000 KRW fed 5 of us (incl. Mr.kang), they served raw abalone but we had the option to cook the abalone in the seafood hotpot instead. We invited Mr.Kang to have lunch with us and it was very comfortable eating with him. He would tell us how to eat like a Korean.

Thanks to Tripadvisor.com, I managed to hire Mr Kang (+82 10-7728-8100) as our driver for 3 days in Jeju Island. He has made our trip really memorable and enjoyable! We went as a group of 8 students who were on a budget trip and Mr Kang brought us to restaurants that were affordable and delicious. We had a BBQ night at our Airbnb apartment and he actually cooked for us! He was also our 'personal tour guide' at one of the museums, where he got to share with us about his childhood and what Korea used to be like! A very caring, humble and kind person :) We were all glad to have Mr Kang around and would totally recommend him as a driver!
I hired Mr Kang for one day and had mostly positive impression. He offered discount tickets to Mazeland and Aqua Planet which I could not find on the internet (20,000w per pax for Aqua Planet, which is 50% list price).
He also took care of my elderly mother while we explored Seongsan Ilchulbong.
Overall, I would recommend Mr Kang and suggest you discuss the itinerary (including what kind of food you like) with him well in advance.
